Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 6:30 – 7:30 AM

Swim Lessons

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 9 AM, 9:30 AM

Session 1: June 15 through July 6
Session 2: July 13 through August 3

Swim Team

Practice begins June 15 and is held 5 days a week. Swimmers are not required to attend all practices.

$125 per swimmer
Includes swim cap, t-shirt, and all meet fees.

Practice times:
Under 8, Beginner: 7:45 to 8:30 AM 
Over 8, Intermediate: 8 to 9 AM

Swim Team is focused on building a team atmosphere while helping swimmers develop their stroke skills.

Evaluations will be held June 10 and June 11 from 4:30–5:30 PM.
Swimmers only need to attend one evaluation.

Pool Closing Early

  • June 14 closes at 7 PM
  • July 1 closes at 5 PM
  • July 22 closes at 4 PM
  • July 26 closes at 4 PM
  • August 3 closes at 4 PM

Important Reminders

With the pool opening for the year, here are a few important things to keep in mind:

  • Kids under 14 must be with a parent or guardian (18+) in the pool or locker room areas.
  • Proper swimwear is required at all times, no street clothes or thong swimsuits in the pool.
  • Children who aren’t potty trained must wear swim diapers. Complimentary swim diapers are available in the guard window and bathrooms
  • Only food and drinks purchased from the Club are allowed in the pool area.
  • Cabanas can be booked through the Events Calendar, and each accommodates up to 8 guests and may not be booked for gatherings or parties. For pool groups larger than 8, please contact Sarah at szins@bishopsbay.com.

Pool Rules and Regulations

Supervision & Responsibility
  • Kids under 14 must be with a parent or guardian (18+) in the pool or locker room areas.
  • Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising their children.
  • Swim Staff are not responsible for babysitting.
  • Swim lessons may only be given by Club Swim Staff.
  • Respect lifeguards’ directions. If unsafe or disrespectful behavior occurs:
    1. A warning will be given, and the behavior identified.
    2. If it continues, a parent, nanny, or responsible sibling will be contacted to step in.
    3. If there is no support or correction, an incident report will be submitted to management.
    4. Ongoing issues will be referred to the Member Standards Committee, which may result in suspension of pool privileges.
Safety & Conduct
  • No running on the pool deck.

  • No horseplay, roughhousing, or wrestling in or around the pool.

  • No Kickboards or flotation pool toys permitted in the pool.
  • No swimming during hazardous weather or when the pool is closed.

  • Members are responsible for any damage caused by themselves or their guests.

  • The shallow end is a designated “calm zone”, older children should not be playing or engaging in disruptive games in this area to keep it safe for younger swimmers.

  • Accidents in the pool = closures:

    • Solid stool: pool must be shocked and closed for 30 minutes.

    • Loose Stool: pool must be shocked and closed for the rest of the day.

Private Pool Events
  • Guest Limits & Menu Options: Club Management may set limits on the number of guests and available menu items.

  • Decorations: Balloons, streamers, and confetti are not allowed.

  • Reservation Area: Private pool parties may only be held in the upstairs pavilion.

  • No Other Reserved Areas: The pool deck and other parts of the pool facility cannot be reserved.

  • Cabanas are only for regular Member use. They cannot be reserved for parties with more than 6 guests.
Swimming Pool Attire
  • Proper swimwear is required.
  • Children who aren’t potty trained must wear swim diapers.
    • Complimentary swim diapers available in the guard window and bathrooms
  • No thong swimsuits allowed.
  • Street clothes are not allowed in the pool.
  • Only bathing suits are allowed in the pool.
Food & Beverages
  • Only food and drinks purchased from the Club are allowed.
  • No food or drinks near the pool edge.
  • No glass bottles or containers in the pool area
Other Notes
  • The Club is not responsible for lost or stolen valuables.

  • Swim at your own risk, staff are present for safety and rule enforcement only.

  • Swim Staff may close parts of the pool for maintenance or events.

  • During low staffing, 15-minute rest breaks may be enforced on the hour. Advance notice will be given when possible.
