Even though the summer is winding down, September was one of our most exciting months here at the Club, as we welcomed two new members of our staff: our new Director of Agronomy, Nick Krysinski, and our new Food and Beverage Director, Kevin Black.

Nick Krysinski, Director of Agronomy
Nick joins us from Indiana, where he previously managed the state’s top-rated golf course. Nick brings a passion for maintaining top-notch golf course conditions–often with the help of his dog. With a background in turf science from Rutgers and years of hands-on experience, he’s eager to elevate Bishops Bay to new heights with upcoming projects like irrigation upgrades, tree additions, and improved playability of the greens. Outside of work, Nick is an avid golfer, car enthusiast, and is looking forward to Wisconsin’s crisp mornings and snow.

Kevin Black, Food and Beverage Director

We are also excited to welcome Kevin Black to the team as the new Director of Food and Beverage. Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Kevin brings decades of experience, including running his own restaurant in Baton Rouge specializing in fresh, locally sourced crepes and coffee. Most recently, he managed food and beverage at a private country club, where he organized wine and spirit pairing dinners. Kevin is eager to bring his expertise to Bishops Bay and looks forward to exploring Wisconsin’s outdoor adventures and vibrant community.
And when we learned that Kevin had never tried a traditional Wisconsin Old Fashioned, we had John make him one. Watch the video to see what he thought!
