We have some highlights and rundowns from a couple of recent events here at Bishops Bay: our 2025 Women’s Opener and Pickleball Dinko de May event. Continue scrolling for videos and summaries of these events, and check the events calendar because we have a lot more coming up this week!
We officially kicked off the Women’s Sports Season a couple of weeks ago with our annual Women’s Opener event. Despite a chilly, rainy forecast that led to a few adjustments throughout the day, the energy and enthusiasm of the ladies made it a successful and memorable start to the season.
The day began with a lively Pickleball drill led by Bubba and Kevin, setting the tone for a fun and active morning. In the afternoon, the focus shifted to Tennis, where Bubba, Cecile and the team welcomed participants for a skill-building session on the courts. Meanwhile, those looking to sharpen their short game enjoyed a complimentary putting clinic hosted by John to make up for the soggy conditions on the course.
As the day wrapped up, members gathered inside the Clubhouse for appetizers and casual shopping opportunities, rounding out the event with a relaxed, social finish.
We’re excited for all that’s ahead in the 2025 Women’s Sports Season—and this event was a great reminder that even when the weather doesn’t cooperate, the community and camaraderie at Bishops Bay always shine through.
And our Dinko de Mayo Pickleball event last month brought the heat—and the fun! With fast-paced activities and games, rotating partners, and nonstop energy on the courts, it was the perfect blend of friendly competition and social connection.
After the final serve, the party continued with margaritas and fiesta vibes.
Check out the highlights video below to relive the action—and get ready to join us this Friday when you’ll have a chance to play pickleball against local pros!
