Bishops Bay Country Club has been shaped by the dedication of many individuals, but few have left an impact like Roger Stillman. A longtime member and former Treasurer, Roger played a key role in guiding the club through financial challenges, ensuring its long-term success.

Roger, who recently passed away at 85, was not only a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, but also a passionate golfer and a steadfast advocate for the club. Over more than a decade serving as Club Treasurer, he led negotiations that helped stabilize Bishops Bay. Members who worked alongside him recall his steady demeanor, financial expertise, and unwavering dedication.

Beyond finances, Roger was a fixture in the Bishops Bay community, relishing the camaraderie of the club and always willing to share his wisdom. His impact extended beyond numbers—he was a mentor, a historian of the club’s evolution, and a trusted advisor to many.

Roger’s influence remains woven into the fabric of Bishops Bay.

As we honor his memory, we express our deepest gratitude for his service and dedication. His legacy will endure in the club’s continued success and the friendships he helped cultivate.
